Partner API

Release notes for the server-to-server Partner API. Versions match info.version in the API reference, where new endpoints carry a “New in” label.

8 October 2026.

• Adds PATCH /users/{partner_user_id}/name to set a member’s first name, last name, or both. See Member Names.
• Adds POST /users/names:batch to set names for up to 500 members in one request, with a per-member updated or not_found result.
• GET /users and GET /users/{partner_user_id} return first_name and last_name.
• The names are shown in the Partner Portal. They never replace the name the member chose in the Zing app, and the app does not show them.

• Adds subscription.trial_started, subscription.paid_started, and subscription.stopped for a member’s subscription lifecycle.
• Adds promo_code.redeemed.
• Breaking: removes workout.updated and workout.deleted. Use workout.completed and the Pull API for workout data.
• A non-2xx response or a timeout may trigger a retry. See Webhooks.

• Breaking: workouts use completed_at instead of occurred_at, add category, and no longer return completion_percentage, intensity, or summary.
• Breaking: workout exercises use exercise_id, name, and repetitions instead of exercise_type, exercise_name, and reps. weight is an object with value and unit. Adds group_index, result_index, phase, and target.
• Breaking: tests use completed_at, test_type, and score instead of occurred_at, type, and raw_score.
• GET /tests/{test_id} returns a fitness test detail (score, level, fitness age, and per-exercise metrics) or a flexibility test detail (stretching scores per body area and per movement).
• Webhook deliveries return delivery_id, destination_id, transport_type, http_status (instead of last_http_status), delivered_at, and created_at.
• Documents the 400, 403, 405, and 500 error responses. 401 responses include a WWW-Authenticate header.
• The base URL is https://api.dev-ai.coach/v1.

• X-Timestamp is Unix time in whole seconds.
• X-Signature is a lowercase hexadecimal HMAC-SHA256 digest of X-Timestamp + "." + raw body, keyed with the full webhook secret. See Webhooks for verification examples.
